Got some mates there at
Got some mates there at begining of march aswell. last year there was quite a few sailys landed which was good to see. when we arrived the water changed a green colour and fishing slowed right down and only managed a sail, few macks and not much else to brag about in our camp so hoping for a better one this year

Sand blasted
Mate was there a week back and pulled out after 2 days, got sand blasted big time and swallowed forty thousand flies before even eating his breakfast.

There last week
Was up at the point last week, was staying in denham so decided to head out with the missus for a couple of nights. Not much bottom fish off the rocks but plenty of macks to go round. In 2 days of spinning for macks I got an undersize, a keeper and lost a bigger model to sharks. Other guys there who were ballooning and spinning were doing pretty well, the wind was howling but in our backs so made for better casting. The sharks are pretty bad at the moment, 1 group lost half a dozen fish in 1 morning session, in the end we would hav 1 person hurling rocks at the sharks while someone else was trying to gaff fish just to scare them off a bit ( seem to work quite well ). Good luck.
