Steep point camp fire alternatives

I'm staying at shelter bay later in the year and I was wondering if Paul allows fires in a contained steel fire pit or is it a total fire ban throughout? I've heard he doesn't tolerate any type of fires but surely people have taken webbers and coal beads up there?

Heat beads.
We took a small drum/fire pit with heat beads for our camp oven.
We did check with him first to make sure it was ok, so I would suggest you do the same.

Havent been for a while but
Havent been for a while but that was my understanding also, contained and bring your wood with you.
Give a man a mask, and he'll show you his true face...
The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.

depends on
I was there in May and checked with Paul. Tolerated but not encouraged. Depends a bit on weather. But we brought in a few crates of wood and a steel fire pit. MUST take home all trace of fire including any ash. Not likely to be approved in summer. Get pre approval.

Has to be self contained
I used 1/4 of a 200l drum .Bring all your own wood and he brings a big galvanised bin for your ashes the morning you leave.no fires in summer
