Steering leak

Hi fellas,

Just wondering if anyone could tell me where the leak would be coming from in the below pictures..... It seems to be coming from where the steer wheel pump mounts to the console.... has anyone had any experience re-sealing these? do you have to time them or anything when you pull them apart?

Any info would be great!!

the grub screws at the back of the unit. Just need to tighten up a bit. No timing required.

I had a leak in my Hydrive

I had a leak in my Hydrive one recently. There is an o-ring seal that sits at the bottom of the steering shaft. Apparently it's pretty common for it to wear out. Leaning on the steering wheel while your driving causes the steering shaft to flex a bit and wears out the seal.

I had to pull the steering wheel off, unscrew the retaining cap then and put the new seal in. Whitworths sold me an overpriced kit for it.

You'll probably need to refill and bleed it once your done.
