Stimulation payments

Has anyone received their latest Federal Government stimulus payment? I haven't heard of anyone receiving one yet and I am interested in seeing if the Government is actually getting these payments out at the time when a lot of people and the economy needs them.

a lady works at the tax
a lady that works at the tax department told me it goes by the last number of you tax file number so if its a 1 youd be first and 9 youd be last..but yeah i havnt herd of any getting it either

I am sure the government will have all sorts of excuses if there

from what i understand you
from what i understand you will recieve the payment via mail or direct deposite depending on wich way you lodged your tax return ( i got ming direct deposited when i done my tax) also talking to the lady at the taxation office she told me that if u did ure tax early u will get payment first and the if u did it l8, u will get it l8,. but who nows with the taxation dept they never no what ther doing

I received mine on the 9th of April. Pleasant surprise when I checked my bank account today.
Work bonus and stimulus in the same week.
Great timing.
It will make a good emergency fund for my month long holiday up north.

Nargh no motels I consider
Nargh no motels I consider them a waste of money.
3 nights camped at lucky bay to break the trip on the way up.
7 nights at the lighthouse caravan park
10 nights camped at Winderbandi Pt
4 nights at quobba on the return journey to break it up.
Ill keep the $$ in the bank in case I need emergency beer money :)

centerlink bonuses dispatched first
most people on the dole as a student or low income parent gets it first. All other low income workers that have lodged tax return for the last 2 years will get theirs anywhere from 2 mondays ago to 6 weeks afterwards. Note that you are not eligable if you owe tax department money. Also if anyone was on the dole but also has claimed 07 and 08 tax return, you are likely to get the bonus x2.

Students get an extra 950$ payment so they are eligble for up to 1850$ in full.

The missus was mumbling something the other day when I walking in and started building my erm beer wall just inside the front door.
I tried to explain they were on special and to think of the savings.
That got more mumblings.
Packing a few bottles of jacks and port in case of emergency.
I wouldn't want to run out while out camping. that would be devastating.

When people who earn under 80k a yr are classed as low income earners.
Still a majority of people do9 but a lot of people are heading into the 80-150k/yr these days.

The missus & I actually got ours some time in the last week but daughter wants to borrow it to buy a nerw computer. Not real keen as we had plans but seeing I lent our son lots more to buy a car I can't very well refuse.
