Stradic 4000fg drive gear

Long shot here... Anyone have an old unused Shimano Stradic 4000fg (identifiable as white with wooden handle) lying around? Does nit need to be in working order, I'm looking for a drive gear as mine snapped on a recent trip up north. It's an old reel, but holds some sentimental value to me and keen to repair if I can find the right part.

Selthy, I messaged a guy in QLD who is the absolute guru on Shimano, to see if he had any idea where we might find a remnant spare.

He has an awesome collection of Shimano spin reels and has been my source for rare bits and pieces for repairs for ages.

This is his reply..

"..Hi Mark, the FG Stradic being so very very vintage and obsolete it's a wonder if there's any drive or pinion gears remaining to be honest.

They were made from that Zinc Alloy (monkey metal) and wore out pretty average, due to dissimilar metal issues with the pinion and stainless steel bearings - any water got in they pitted and created a wearing paste.

Shimano Australia will be absolutely zero help also unfortunately.

Sorry to say that she's destined for a shelf piece or paper weight on the work desk in the office..."

I hope you find a solution mate, I know I have some reels that hold sentimental value too.
