Strange looking commercial boat

This photo was taken the other day at bedout island 100kms off port hedland. They were also seen walking along the reef taking crays. Who needs to take responsibility for this federal gov or state gov?

I dont think any government
I dont think any government will take responsibilty for it. Cost too much to do anything worthwhile and you wont get any financial return out of it.

It's not bloody good. All our bag limits are going to decrease and they can take as much as they want. Won't be long and there will be people taking action into there own hands! A lot more artificial reefs up and down the Pilbara coast.

its a joke!
recent trip to Scott reef and the place was teeming with these boats.
more boats on the southen end of scott than the northen end.
seems like they are just fishing everything out and keep moving south.
low tide and the reefs were crawling with these guys.
seen heaps of fish just airdyring on the side of the boats out there.
seems like these guys dont have a size limit or catch limit to abide by. they just fill the boat with anything a sail back to indo.
as the next lot of boats sail down.
they are meant to be using traditional fishing methods but came across them on there little canoes with snorkles and spear guns
heaps of fish traps in the water on floats also.
boarder plane flew over everyday ( at 100K a flight at my guess)
and it seems like they cant do anything about it.
our goverment is too soft to put there foot down and turn them back.
they are regualy seen at rowley shouls now also.
as mentioned above people will take it into there own hands to sort it out as it is only going to get worse.

Yeah mate it's a bloody joke. Sink those boats that are taking our fish and pluck the crews out of the ocean and send them back to Indonesia. This can't board the boats because of covid excuse won't hold up when the boat is at the bottom of the ocean.

It should be pointed out that while Bedout Island is 100km from Port Hedland, it is also only 40km off the coast-very close
