I got another recaptured one on Sunday too. not sure what my tally is now but more than enough to convince me that the fish survive well if brought to the surface reasonably slowly and with a deco stop at 5 or 10 meters. Had quite a few now that were recaptured after a simple release as well as the release weight so all good. Had your fish grown much?

Well done Paul, you did much better than me on the weekend, one good harley, a massive blackarse and a nice baldy. Only one dhuie on the whole trip and that was the tagged one, which is weird for us. Heaps of just under size pinkies on a few lumps which were perhaps getting to the bait before the dhuies for a change. Again weirdly we had virtually no shit fish, one SB and a Western wirra and that was it. Everything else was undersize.

Thanks for a great day out Paul, and for showing me that I have been using my boat as a wishing platform instead of a fishing platform

Sounds like a good day out.

Doesn't get much better, straight out of the water into the pan.
