Sundays fishing report
Headed out Sunday morning for a fish, left woddys at 8 and hit the back of 5 fathom, the wind was far from perfect with a 10ish knot south wester blowing first thing, we fished the five for an hour or so and landed a nice BB, foxy, a small sambo and skippy.
With the wind not dropping we decided to head in closer in search of more Skippy however they weren’t on the bite and decided to hit Mewstone before heading home. The fish were on the bite in a big way with the first tailor coming in the first cast. We anchored and fished the reef using SP’s and the tailor didn’t disappoint with 15+ landed and many bust offs, and a bloody big sambo that didn’t mind our tailor either. The biggest fish going 64cm and the smallest being 50cm and all were caught on 10lb.
