seen these (or similar) before, great idea but they were outrageously expensive for what they consisted of.

The older you get the more you realize that no one has a f++king clue what they're doing.
Everyone's just winging it.

good
these are a very good idea. I saw them last year at the Perth 4wd Adventure show. They seem to get a lot of attention.
But pretty exy IMO.

Seen these at Roadmaster
Seen these at Roadmaster Trailers in Bayswater a couple of years ago. Thought it was agreat idea too, especially for single axle trailers. Then I saw the price :O
Funnily I saw a home made job at the Mindarie boat ramp one day after, where a guy had a block of Jarrah as his 'skid' in the same method as this, in case the tyre came off.
Bit like the braking systems on the old Trams in San Francisco just using wooden blocks as the brake 'pads'.

Good idea but
Good idea but as far as I am aware anything that hangs lower than the rim is illegal thus being if you get a flat it won't run on the rim.
Maybe different on trailers but cannot have anything that sits lower than the rim on drive vehicles
