sustain 5000

 hey guys

just a quike question, will a sustain 5000 be able to handle 30 pound braid on it ?
i am thinking it will but i just have a little bit of uncertainty about it.

 Ran 20 lb on mine and destroyed it got a new one under warranty and it shit it self first trip out

 If your happy with the line capacity yor getting then it will be ok with that braid. Wouldn't go any heavier though.

However, upgrade the drag washers to carbontex...

I was running pe 1.5 (which was 25lb) on my sustain 4000 and I have accounted for some good fish on it!
I have never had any problems my sustain.

A Sustain 5000 will handle 30lb. Also agree no heavier. Little reels are bloody tuff IMO.
