Swan River Flatties

I went down for a very quick Point Walter flattie fish this morning and landed 3 bar-tailed flatties. Released 1 and kept the others for a great feed next week. 20 casts for 3 fish; by the time I walked out along the spit to where I wanted to fish and then walked in the 2 fish that I wanted to keep my 1 hour long session was over. Short but sweet, but very enjoyable. I tried to be a little creative with the photos; I try to keep the 'what would look good in a fishing article' thought in my head.

Nice L/B flattys mate, descent size with the pink native minnow doing the trick again. That second pic is a winner, you should write articles LOL

I'll come down on the next sesh!

2nd Session

Sat, 2009-01-24 16:57

Yes Mate it was great to get on the river, even if it was only for a short time. It was only my 2nd flattie session since returning to Aus in late Oct; the joys of a newborn and a 2 yr old.

Three days without it and I get a little jumpy
