swan river plastics

i have started getting into swan river plastics fishing after wading waist deep under the narrows yesterday and getting busted off by a big bream and hooking up several times. what are the best plastics to be using? i know that pink is great for bream and flathead but i also had luck on pumpkinseed and pearl watermelon. are there any other plastic colours that i should be using

yep thats it chartruese silver.

normally i like to use the lightest jighead i can get away with, but in areas like the narrows i prefer heavyish jigheads, so it can sink to the bottom a bit faster and away from the blowies, but thats just me.

I have heard the SP sponsored guys on TV fishing shows

suggest darker coloured SPs for darker water or cloudy skies and brigher colours for clearer waters and bright sunny days.

two different fishing shows suggest the dark for dark, bright for bright routine.
I have tested it myself. I guess we should.

Could be to do with depth

Wed, 2009-01-28 07:26

that the fish are sitting or swimming at too. If they are down deep & its a dull day the dark SP will have a stronger silouette against the grey sky! On a brighter day I imagine a natural colour would do better.
What do you reckon?

I`d rather be fishin`!!!

Sounds logical Rainbow

I know the darker silouette was mentioned by the SP company sponsored anglers.
