relaxed fishing !
thanks for sharing that video, may i second live prawns as prime bait,, i remember dragging a prawn net at nedlands years ago (when there were no prawns only blowies) and getting 2 dozen nice prawns we kept in an airated bucket, snuck out on the flash jettys and every prawn got taken on the drop. proves how good fresh bait is.

You're lucky the mulla wasn't a much bigger fish. You and the Castaway would've became ski donuts. Haha

Thanks
Thanks for the comments crew.
It certainly was a comedy of errors.
1. I was kicking back watching the dolphins, who were harassing mullet right on the edge I wanted to fish.
2. I did have a ciggy on the go and dropped it in the water, something I try never to do.
3. Obviously I didn't have my f5ck3n net . lol
4. I was a bit hung over and had the shakes big time.
5 It definitely took me by surprise, I only had the bait out for a couple of minutes.
6 What I had to edit out, was the tangled mess that happened as I tried to get my plastics rod in and out of the way.
Over all it was a real buzz to catch a nice one on light gear, and I hooked 3 on the day landing the one in the video.
For those that don't film much, you should understand, I have to have the camera rolling as much as possible, and probably went through 100 hours to get that one clip. But in the end its worth it when it you finally get something worth the time to edit and post .
Cheers Grant .
