Ive got a swivel roller tip on my leccy rig and it is a huge pain in the ass am gonna get it changed to a ring . Couplamates have done the same. My opinion is avoid them lol
When they roll. Constantly maintain them and they should be a good as gold. Avoid the cheaper ones found on rack rods. They are inferior and will groove with braid. Expect to pay $100 + for a decent tip though
Roller tips.....OK for 37 kg mono, cheap ones no good for braid, as you risk braid getting jammed in the edges of the rollers. Don't really see the need.
