Wire
Any wires coming off the back of the tachometer? Should be 2, 1 negative and the other comes from motor or forward control box. This wire is normally grey and comes off starter or ignition system. Heaps of info on net.

Looks like I might need a
Looks like I might need a new regulator/rectifier as my batteries are not charging as well the tachometer works when I take the grey wire off terminal strip and put it on yellow/ grey wire from stator. So I will have to get some one to replace this for me and hopefully all is good. 90hp v4 2stroke evinrude 1990
