Had a "tough" day at the office the other week !
Unfortunately..... had to attend a drive day at Barbagallo's with 3 new Lamborghini's..
Pictured below is the new Lambo Gallardo (based around the feature we were doing for Unique Cars)
Managed to get a couple of hot laps in as a passenger, than a drive of the beast !
We hit speeds of around the 240km/h mark down the straights (with aircon on full !)
It's amazing how quick FORD and CAT corners come up !!
The acceleration and breaking power is superb...
Had a feeling the contents of my stomach was on the up and out a couple of times especially thru the esses.
Maybe...just maybe..... when I have a spare $500k - $600k I might buy one !

yeah yeah , its only a lambo. nice car tho still would rather be giving a phase 3 gt a good workout , you cant beat the real grunt of a big v8

yeh... a real struggle !!
But someone's got to do it !
It's good to get days like that... breaks up the monotony of shoot sports all the time.
A few other "hard" days at work..
Had a run around Barbagallo's before in a Maybach, which was formerly run by Stan Jones (father of Alan Jones) in the 50's Grand Prix's..
Shooting restarts of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race - twice from a chopper.
Being shown by the water police what their twin engined patrol boats are capable of.
Had a co-drive with Dean Herridge in his works WRX rally car.
Shooting the 2006 AFL Grand Final... shame the wrong WA team was playing !
Shooting Gilly belting the Poms in the last Ashes series match at the WACA (as per my avatar)
Yeh.... been some hard days alright !!
