Tell Recfishwest how to spend your licence money:
Each year recreational fishers contribute approximately $6 million to the cost of managing recreational fisheries in WA through licence fees. Twenty five percent of licence revenue is allocated to the Recreational Fishing Initiatives Fund (RFIF). This fun focusses on projects that directly benefit recreational fishing.
Recfishwest wants to hear your views on where your licence money should be spent. Your feedback on this very important issue will aid Recfishwest in guiding the expenditure of RFIF funds. Please take the time to fill out the survey, loacted at the link below. If you need any extra encouragement, everyone who completes the survey goes into a draw to win one of three Daiwa spinning reels valued at $200 each!!
The information gathered throughout this survey will provide direction for your licence money expenditure. Be sure to pass the link on to all of your family and friends who enjoy fishing, even if only occasionally.

Just had a thought, why couldn't RFW get a grant or some funding to buy/run the paid boat ramp facilities in the state?
They seem to charge enough that it could probably make revenue for the fishing community rather than the local councils etc???
Unless they're funded by local government already.
Just a thought....
Cheers,
Joe
The smaller the icebox you take, the bigger the fish will be.
