Tezza's Trailers
So, have been thinking lately of either rebuilding my current trailer or replacing with a new one. Current trailer is a Brooker Supper Roller rated to a combined weight of 1.9t. Boat is a 6m Seafarer Victory & 200hp. To help make the decision I filled the fuel tank up and had all my general/safety gear onboard & took it over a weigh bridge. Was very surprised to see it come in at 2.25t which is well above the rating of current trailer. We do trips North with the boat and I also want a buffer for all the kids crap that we somehow seem to take away with us!! It’s an easy decision now to replace the trailer, one with greater capacity as well as hydraulic/electric breaking. Tezza’s Trailers do a trailer rated to 2.8t which I’m leaning towards. Has anyone had any experience with Tezza’s Trailers good or bad? Cheers, Jason

A pretty common story, particularly aound 6m
I've yet to see a 6m glass cuddy that was under 2000kg fully fuelled with all normal gear on board. People just delude themselves to avoid having to have breakaway brakes. 2.8 tonne would be a good size, based on what you are saying, as the tare of the trailer itself will doubtless be more than your current one, so you could be adding 150-200kg to BMT right there. As to Tezzas, specifically, can't comment.

Tezza's Trailers are just
Tezza's Trailers are just about the best steel trailer you will get your hands on.
I believe Terry has built in excess of 10,000 trailers so he knows his stuff. He will build to suit your boat and also lift your boat onto the new trailer and set it all up correctly.
The I-Beam/Channel construction also prevents rusting from the inside which is not uncommon in RHS constructed trailers.
As there is no middle man you end up with a better quality trailer at a similar price to a mass produced model.
I had one built last year and can't recommend a "Tezza's" highly enough.

getting the bottom line final answer from a bunch of blokes that use false names and put smiley faces at the end of paragraphs is not the best place in the world to get the information you seek.
