I don't normally do this sort of thing but I wanted to say a big thank you to Luke at Chivers Marine.
I went in on Friday with an old Lowrance unit that was not powering up and it had my 700 waypoints stuck inside with no back up. I was peaking thinking that all my spots were irretrievable and that the unit was fried. Cursing the fact that I hadn't previously backed up the data. Luke spent over an hour trouble shooting and managed to power up the unit and transfer waypoints to a SDI card.
While there wasn't much in it for Chivers yesterday, they have picked up a customer that will come back again due to their good service. I will get my new sounder and plotter for my next boat from them when the time comes.

Good bunch of blokes there mate been going there when I need stuff for years, I bought my recent new motor there and just bought a hds unit from them as well, can't say enough about them, great help, excellent service

ill refrain from mine but do agree Luke is a great guy to deal with, oh how i wish this weather would improve so that i could be doing what i love best
