Thieving campers

My own fault really, but after a week of camping/fishing down albany, had about a dozen bags of vac paked bags of kg fillets in the communal fridge/freezer, and someone decided they would like them better than me. I know it's only small but it just pisses me off that people would do this in a communal living environment. Obviously they don't like squid because right next to it was a heap of vac packed squid. At least it wasn't all my fish, still had some in the engel.
Side note, plenty of kg and squid around in the bay, just got to keep moving.

I gotta say that isnt the norm for camp grounds, but that is very poor form. we leave wallets and phones and computers lying around and touch wood never had anything stolen. Even tried leaving the wife and kids lying around but they haven't been taken either...

It could have been heaps
It could have been heaps worse, with all the gear in the boat and kids iPads and wallets in the tent, it just the principle and makes you worry about everything else. That being said, we've been regularly staying there 2-3 times a year since 97, and this is the worst thing that's happened.
The engel was full, otherwise they would have been in there. Will be taking the second one down at Christmas. Had a lot of bait (squid heads) in there as they have a no bait policy on the communal freezers, next time I think that may be ignored.
Anyway, whinge over, great week, light winds nearly everyday, very good dawn service at the desert mounted corps memorial on mount Clarence, both my boys were loving getting into the kgs' and squid, only downside is didn't get to head out wide as we had my 2yo daughter on the boat with us, but even she was happy out there.

I had my generator knocked off in the n/w a few years back. kinda sucked when your camp needs it to keep it all going.
had to head into town and buy another.
found out when we got back in just after noon so at least the freezers didn't defrost.
Reverse cycle a/c supply and install - Ducted and wall splits

Haha, Catchalittle. Could do similar to what I did at a previous place of employment. Fair few employees and my cans of coke I used to stock in the fridge used to go missing. So took a pic of me rubbing my nuts on the top of a can, waited till all the cans were gone, then stuck the picture on the fridge

Should leave a few pieces of chocolate cake wrapped in gladwrap so all can see what it is but instead of choc icing use melted laxettes.

Trail cameras
Get a trail camera and hide it in a spot that watches your camp. There's always some photos of wildlife you didn't see and if your kit gets knocked off...go find them.
