Tinting flowcoat

Quick question--can you use small amounts of paint pigment to tint flowcoat? I need to take some white just off to a beige/offwhite. I am fibreglassing a fairing block for an electric capstan to the gunwhale and want to have it roughly match the existing colour of the topsides, pure white will just really stand out. Internet search just won't give me an answer, I know there are pigment pastes available for the job but they are a long way from here.

Fibreglass pigment
is available in small jars at Whitworths. They have a cream pigment that you add a small amount of to make varying degrees of beige/white. I think it is under $10 a jar that will last you forever.

Another place you could try
Another place you could try is Kirksides in Osborne Park. They will also give you good advice if you need it because they are specialists.

I know it is available from Whitworths
And plenty of places in Perth, but that is 600km away. Can't get any in Geraldton, believe it or not. I had a reply on Ausfish from a bloke who does a lot of glassing, always posting pics of his hull rebuilds, and he reckons paint pigment is Ok in small quantities. Cheers
