TLD50 2 speed

can anyone tell me if there is a diffrence between the gold spool back one.

forks are heading overseas and i gunna get them to get me one.

but i want the gold spool!! :)

prob break it in with a few whiting maybe a blowie or too when thigs have worn in ill use it 4 everything tuna and i want a billy when i go to the mackeral islands next yr next yr!

Go the mono son, you will want that stretch for when mr billfish smacks your lure and goes airborne.

triline is thin but it tends to break a bit below its strain due to that fact, pre-test is aussie made and quite a good one for trolling.

with proper drag settings i thought braid would be good.

never had problems with it before. mind you i havent caught the biggest of tuna whilst trolling.

braid is very unforgiving, especially when something goes in the other direction to your going FAST. Bent hooks, broken leader, snapped braid.

Neither have I lol... but I've heard that mono line is essential for that kinda fishing. I'm going to respool my TLD 25 with mono line after losing a couple of lures to angry spaniards :(

yeah ill be spooling my tld50 with mono but my other big reel i will load with braid and see which works better.

the silstar i have i loading up with 80lp berkley whiplash gunna cost me like 300 buck which sort of hurts
