yes i suffered
I hit the ramp at 8am got down to scarbs..chucked a line in..then she blew up..then dropped a little at 11am and i thought it was gooing to drop right off..but no she blew harder.
Decided to bash my way back to hillarys straight into the chop....made sure i made it a rough ride for the mrs...so i can build up a case to trade the 4.2 runabout in for something bigger!

Launched at Two Rocks at
Launched at Two Rocks at about 10am this morning and it was blowing. We headed north because there was an NE blowing and was hoping for an easier ride back and was also hoping the wind would die down soon as I only had a couple of hours, but it didn't, in fact it picked up. We were in 30 - 40m and the wind was picking up water and blowing it across the surface. Swells were a nice size too.
I slipped up and forgot the drift anchor and were skimming over the surface at 3 - 3.5 knots. Too fast to hold bottom. There was good fish on the bottom though - just didn't get any. Spent most of the time travelling and only had 3 drops.

me and the girlfriend headed
Me and the girlfriend headed out about 3:30 after she knocked off, spent a lazy day gettin the boat ready plan was to head out deep. got 100m out of hillarys and decided to much hassle comin back home at 10knts into the chop so we hung right in close and cruised around just to kill time.We had a pod of dolhins playing with us for about an hour it was cool! they had a baby that was jumping right out of the water doing the acrobat thing for us and playing under the bow, round fiveish the wind died right off so we anchored up and harrassed the herring population at waneroo reef we weren't even pulling tight on the anchor line, crappy day for out wide turned out to be awesome avo with the mrs : )

windy as!
I launched today at 10am, gentleman hours and thought i'd miss some of the big blowy eaterly but not the case. As mentioned it blew and intensified until lunch......backed off at 1pm >
I did recon work due to not fishable conditions and sussed out some old co-ords to see if fish were active. When the wind dropped,we fished 3 spots.
Did well with big BB, KG, foxys and Dhufish. Shaun got the biggest dhu at 21kg (weighed) off a lump I havnt fished for a while.....pics tomoz!
