Headed out late today to check the pots after a 5 day soak checked the brothers pots he had 5 in the first 6 in the other in the second then next was my son's pot first pot pulled had 17 males in it all keepers decided not to pull my pots as we already had to throw some back even though the deckie wasnt there he scored a couple as did the bloke next door needless to say the wife now wants me to buy another fridge/freezer as she is sick of opening the kitchen one to find crays looking back at her

25,29 and 32 metres pulling by hand at the moment going to install a electric capstain soon but seeing all the feelers sticking out the sides of the pots when pulling by hand makes it all worth it

Childs play!!
When they had the big run of crays down south in 2000, one of the pros got 83 size INSIDE the pot and 5 jockeys hanging on for the ride. The cut off line for western waters is due south from the lighthouse for 1nm then west, on the north side of the line there was approx. 30 boats with only 2 in the southern zone. The southern boats were averaging over 3 tonne each day from 100 pots and the northern ones around 1.5 tonne.
My best as an amateur is 27 size in one pot off Two Rocks in 12 foot of water.
