There was definitely a few in the crowd last night Unc... late 30s crew that still can't handle their piss!!
Magic night 24 years in the making for me and it somehow exceeded my already very high expectations. Unless someone can bring Kurt Cobain back to life I've now completed my band bucket list.
I've seen the Prodigy and Tool there and was blown away both times. How clean were those guitar riffs even the muted strums during Stinkfist. I really hope Pearl Jam head there for their rumoured late 2020 tour.
Why you'd even bother Dale I don't know, the music you wouldn't understand but as you can tell from some of the above reactions - it was FUCKING EPIC...
I shouldn't even post this as the likes of Dale will get on and whinge that the sound is shit or whatever but those of us that were there its just a little reminder to reminisce...
I thought you'd be watching another replay of the mighty Dokers beating the Eagles today or whenever it was....
They appear to have some Pink Floyd influence in the sound side of things going by that limited YouTube exposure (I have never heard their music before).
Different strokes for different folks I guess.....
The technical ability to pull off the last album..
I think it was 5 years solid of 4 days a week in the studio for 5 hours a day - just to put out 4 of the new songs. Then Maynard did the lyrics in about a week while pulling grapes on his vineyard.
The effort Danny put into Fear Inoculum is hard to comprehend and simply unmatched. It's made all other songs previous way easier to play haha.
All you old floggers should see if you can handle/understand this new one. It's not thrash, give it a spin.
Full disclosure i was under chemical influence at the time but still the best concert i've ever seen an still remember it vividly. Was an unreal venue as everyone was so close to the stage our ears were still ringing the next day
Yes, I remember that one quite vividly believe it was on a Wednesday night and had to go to work the next day. I rate it as the best concert I had been to.
So many times during the show i was blown out by his drumming...
I know bands usually like to pump the drummer up with a solo but I felt there was absolutely no need but in true Tool style the way he went about it on that Gong was up even another level.
I just kept feeling sorry for him thinking about his arm burn, would be like punching a speed ball for an hour straight...
Because his kit is so big was like he was always reaching to smack something!!
Epic...
One of those shows you feel like jumping on a plane and following East!!
I acutally went to see a WASO concert a couple of weeks back, watching each section and instrument palyed to it's best makes my hair stand on end as much as I enjoy a heavy rock concert. Love all music, just can't get this rap stuff though.
I would have to say they exceeded my expectations. The set list was so sick. And to close out with stinkfist, are you kidding me. Maynards vocals were spot on, Danny is just a freak on the drums, Adam with a 1000 mile stare for 2 hrs and Justin bouncing around with that iconic bass twang. It was the best I've seen them for sure.

WOW
Just amazing , masterpiece , quiet possibly best live performance I have seen.
The sound at RAC where we were was way better than I thought possible.
As an ex drummer myself that was extremely exhausting , Danny is a monster..
How was that fade at the end of the song where they just stood tall and proud, Maynard ffs those poses.. could go on and on...
Dont think Faith No More will top it but look forward to compare.
