trailcraft deck wash placement

Hi Guys, Just looking for some advice on deckwash placement, currently it is in the hatch with the batteries. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on a better place to put it on a trailcraft.

Cheers

I dont know about better, but when I changed to dual batteries it had to be moved. I ended  up placing it underneath the bait board.

is there an issue where it currently is?   I have a 570 Trailblazer and no issues with the twin batteries in the same hatch.  Is yours leaking ?

Check the Y connection

Sat, 2016-03-05 22:06

I had a similar issue which was caused by a cracked Y connection.   The crack wasn't visible from the hatch area.  When under running conditions it would spray fine mist of salt water over the batteries.    Suggest you remove and check the y connector for any small cracks and replace it especially if you see any external salt build up.    Good idea to flush it with fresh water every now and then to prevent any internal salt build up which will cause corrosion and eventual weakening.  Hope it helps
