for me it appears that "trigg place" the street with the boat ramp on it is the boundary of the marine park, does this mean you can infact spear on the rest of the area (probaby 10m or more of reef still before its all sand) touchy subject i know but its alive with bream..
not going to try it untill i know for sure as it is a touchy subject

I dont know for sure.....
But I have heard that there are several different government departments with different regulations. Fisheries, CALM (DEC) and local council.
I recall a friend of mine checking with CALM many years ago about marine park zones etc where he could use a gidgee. But then getting busted by a Local Council ranger coz they had different rules.

Don't do it
I was busted as a grommit spearing in there. What the Ranger didn't see was the gidgee with the bream impailed on it under my fins. We got away with a warning on that one.
Definately a no go zone.

If i am correct, the marmion
If i am correct, the marmion marine park includes Trigg Island and surrounding reef. and because it is within 1.8km's of the shore, definitely a no go zone.
