trip to shark bay/carnarvon in a few weeks...advice

hey guys,
during the fishing ban here and perth i was looking at heading up to shark bay for a fishing charter (dont have a boat) with a few ppl from work.
only going up for a few days but i was wondering what would be my best bet for landbased fishing after the charter - beach, carnarvon jetty for afternoon, night and mornings or any other information you have.
it will be my first time up north so any information you have will be helpful.
also if u know any good one day charter operators up there would be great.
thanks, Michael

Charters
Due to the wind at this time of the year the local charter boat has closed down until March.
The jetty has been turning on some nice fish but mostly at night. Whiting have been the main beach catch round town and sharks from Miaboolia beach north of town.

Who are you doing the
Who are you doing the charter with? I've done it with Shark Bay Charters, Mark Snook is the skipper and is very good at everything. I highly recommend him. Although, he may be back down to Perth by now for the summer charters down here.
Cheers
