Must be a few triton owners out there, I would very much appreciate some info on what the new ones are like on the beach and towing (under 5m ali) power, fuel use when towing etc. Looking at man turbo diesel.
any info appreciated.

Holy tow vehicles batman!
Not sure its legal ( barcrushers are light) but a mate tows a 7.6metre hardtop barcrusher with a 2013 td triton
and recons its no sweat , so a 5m ali must be well with in its design brief!
update, update just looked, , its legal ( maybe ) triton tow cap braked 3000kg , 760 ht barcrush b.m.t weight 2300kg, plus gear ,fuel etc

Chick at Work
Chick at work has one and goes prospecting with a heavy camper trailer.
She loves it .
BUT
They say the back end is soft and will not take airbags to prop it up as they break something,
she is not sure what.

Ive got one. Highlights:
Ive got one. Highlights: Will tow my 5.4m Quintrex no probs up north, fully loaded we can still sit on 110km no dramas. It eats the beach, Ive made a front end tow ball for mine for easier launch. Pretty good on fuel. Lowlights: I've had the gearbox rebuilt as the synchros all shat themselves, the head had to be remachined due to factory fault and the airbag warning light sensors were faulty. Would I buy another one? Nope. I'll live with this one for now but will upgrade to a Dmax.
Love the West!

I have an 07 3.2l TD and I
I have an 07 3.2l TD and I brought it specifically as a beach fishing car. cheap and does not matter if I dent it or it gets a little rusty here and there. plenty of power and there light so they skim across the top of the sand with ease. I have never been bogged and the only mods I have done is put new rims and tires on it. little bit soft in the arse end but nothing some new suspension cant fix.
