I'm with Vin, I've got the 2102. Good ride for the size, heavy enough to cut through the small stuff and still light enough to tow anywhere.

Better than most but not as good as some.

I have an old model 2002 2302 and I am happy with her performance. I am not sure about the new style Euro transom hull that could be another issue.

But unfortunately we live in the land of the South westerly and unless you are the Queen Marry all boats are going to bang at speed most times.

Bang for buck I dont think you can beat the Trophys. You get a good boat at usually a better price than most others in its size.

Take her for a spin into the wind and if you are still upright and dont have to book a chiro its a pass mark.

Good luck

 Hey Coley,

Ive got the 2052 WA and I think it is a great boat. I haven't had it in any gnarly sea conditions just the usual easterlies in the morning and seabreezes in the arvo. I can't fault it.

We had the first 2002 trophy

We had the first 2002 trophy brought in to the state by Mariners world think we got got it in 97 from memory, we allowed it to be displayed at the boat show at the time and the number of people that shit canned it for being a lake boat was unreal nothing could be further from the truth. Very capable sea boat very happy with it the only down side I had was the fuel consumption from the 175 merc so rather than update the motor I went for a whole new rig. Unfortunately the tosser down on great eastern highway that became the new dealer didn't want to negotiate on a new rig and ended up getting a new cruisecraft instead

2502 Trophy

Tue, 2016-03-15 19:25

Hey Mate
I had a 2502 trophy and the only issue I found with it if the swell / wind was coming from the side while you were travelling it would push it around a fair bit. I think it was because it had such a massive dead rise from the water. Other than that it was pretty good

Cheers
