Trout in the brunswick river?

hey guys just wondering if anyone has any tips for trout fishing in the bruswick river. Ive tried in town a couple of times, and never even seen one, but i know they're there and i was just wondering anyone knew of any good spots or any reccomended lure to try there.
Any tips will be greatly appreciated!

hows it going mate in reply to trout in the brunswick i may have some info of intrest 10 to 15 years ago mate mick ust to run a farm property along side the brunswick river and they were easily able to catch trout there. All though he did say they where never big fish that they landed. but the methods they would use was live grasshoppers on an unweighted hook drift them down the river and as they kick it would attract the trout. another one would be using crow feathers for lures was effective i remmeber him saying somthing about the oil in the feathers worked but i mostly use HALCO rmg lures. as for good fishing spots sorry i can not help you on that one as i have caught them in deep and ancle deep water hope this helps you out ;)

im defienately interested in trying the crow feathers because they are so easy to find. And i can defianately try out the halco rmg's i got a new halco laser pro yesterday and im eager to test that out as well. Ill get to test it this after noon coz me and my family are going up to wellington dam camping over the australia day weekend but im going up this arvo.

Just got back today in the end got 16 reddies all 20-25cms on lures from the shore. Got 1 trolling on the boat with the leccy motor..
