Twinpower 8000 problems

 Any one know what is is when it gets hard too wind and black rubbery stuff comes out from the back of the rotating spool.any ideas before I strip it, it is an over seas model

Yep. That's the rubber seal

Yep. That's the rubber seal that helps stop water getting to the main shaft bearings. I don't know the price but if you can get one it would take all of 15 minutes to fix it

 Alot of work.have 2 might get one good reel.I understood that parts are hard to get for the over seas models (released over seas)

There's a guy in Singapore that does reel servicing including JDM reels that a lot of people seem to use and some guys from Perth have sent their Stellas across but there is a fair wait. I can dig up the details if ya like. Would be a shame to ditch a Twinpower!

 Is that the 2009 Twinpower or earlier ? I have similar problem on my 2003 TP 8000PG. To be fair it had done a fair bit of work so that's expected. The local tackle store sort it out for me.
