The 4 blokes that sunk there boat off Mandurah what were they doing late at night with 30 knot winds 3 mile off shore. There's a fishing band on!!! There's no way they just went for a cruise for fun either!!! I'm not accusing anyone just suspect that pots around that area get tampered with regularly

No I don't wish that type of event on anyone, but if you believe their story then you must also believe in the tooth fairy IMO. Now if you are trying to get a heavy pot up and you are all on one side of the boat and a swell gets you, weeeell. Or if you are out for a quiet fish for whiting in that location in that sort of weather, well I'd believe that, wouldn't you. Or if you were out for a bit of whale watching, I'd believe that. Or if you and your mates were just out there and up to no good, nah I wouldn't believe that. Would be good to find the boat and have a look inside it.

I saw one of the dudes this morning
I took my exipred flares into Fisheries this morning
& one of the dudes ( the skipper i assume) was being interviewed out side in the car park
by a couple of TV crews, right in front of the bonnet of my car as i was about to leave.
Ironic because i never got to hear the full story - home too late to see the news.
I only heard briefly on the radio that some guys ended up in the water at 11.00 last night
Interested to hear their story if any one can enlighten me.

Whatever they were up to it was certainly a bad call to be out at night in those winds.....
Any experienced skipper would know what a pain in the arse being out there at night with a 30 knot SW blowing.
I wouldnt be amazed if something a little dodgy was going on
