Use your imagination.....

You find yourself stumbling on a killer fishing spot which holds tailor, and all the bread and butter species, however, your car has just broken down and the closest place to you is 150kms away...

The place is so remote that on average, someone else usually drives past once every 5 days so you set up for the long haul and all you have on you is 1 rod, its 8 foot and graphite and has a quality daiwa or shimano reel to match...

Your gear only consists of a couple of metal slices, 3 packs of soft plastics and a couple of stick baits.

Given your dire situation, you are fortunate enough to have enough water to last you a week but you're bloody hungry...

....................................

In this situation, what metal slices would you have? What 3 softies? and what stick baits would you absolutely need and trust to keep you fat and happy until help arrives?

Ps, you broke your left wrist punching the car cos its such a piece of crap... something like h0ju's car (haha) so you can only cast one handed

:P

Chartruese and Pearl White snapbacks/atomics - 3" + 5"

Maybe a twisty just as backup, but plastics would be enough.

well thought id report....

went out fishing with tyson this arvo...

was throwing around some shrimps in new penny and pearl white... ty pulls in some herring with some mulie cubes and the pressure is mounting at the end of the groyne due to the amount of people going for tailor but it was a bit early... like 4pm

so i thought, oh what the heck, said to ty... "what ya reckon the chances are of landing on this nuclear chicken minnow" hes like, "you wont catch jack shit!"

first cast, 5 seconds, hooked up to a 31cm skippy... kept casting it the rest of the arvo, same bait, 6 skippy all over 25cm and 3 herring 20+ hahahahah

I love nuclear chicken... noone else caught anyth8ing.. tyson hooked up 2 herring 3 skippy with mulie tails hahahahaha

so theres the proof,,, nuclear chicken for the win :D

Fishing

Thu, 2007-10-11 21:44

Went out today from tantabiddi, even with howling winds. Got 1 small coral trout, heaps of varigated emps and yellowtail emp, heaps of charlie court, big longtoms and a blue tuskfish (all released). Then went out in the gulf in the arvo and picked up half a dozen school macks (all released) and went for a spear and saw one coral trout that would have been close to 45, but was left for another day. The chartruese atomics were working very well!
