A Very Proud Dad

Very proud of 11 year old Sarah being awarded the MAAC Junior Champion for 2016 at the awards function last night. Her yearly points tally also gained her the runner up award in the Ladies Division.
Thanks to Dean and Wal for the awesome trips on Y-Knot for a lot of the comps, and supporting Sarah throughout the year. She landed some great fish and her skills just kept improving to the point she could land just about everything she hooked - there were some classic battles.
A boy at school told her that girls can't fish - yeah right mate, this girl can.

The points are tallied on a yearly basis. 2 points per species and 1 point per kilo combined weight. All Fisheries bag and size limits apply, although some size limits are increased (Whiting) and bag limits decreased (Seriolas). It's fair to say she caught most "target" species at some time throughout the season.

I think her highlights were being called a legend by Callum, and the thought she could get the car and boat when she was 17 - thanks JDI.
