Dirk Nienaber from Stargazer Pictures joined me for a fishing session near Rotto. He managed to catch a decent Shark Mackerel in the process and take some good video footage.

Good professional video and top photo's. was a Canon used for the photo's?
Sometimes when the water is quiet, you can hear the fish laughing at you !

The possibilities with the drone are boundless, just thinking with a little imagination you could have one drop a lure on that school of salmon that always stays just out of casting range from the beach.

take your rubbish with you
Good video mate but how about disposing of your rubbish in bins back on land rather than throwing line cut offs in the water.

Totally agree
I advocate conservational awareness and my actions don't follow my talk in this video. I always take my rubbish back and even stop to pick up plastic bags etc. on my way out. No more line cut offs in the water.
