So the Hawks get tamed as I predicted. Taking nothing away from the Hawks though, the game was all over until the cats kicked the last goal after the siren.
As for Swift playing for the Eagles this week I am one of those who is concerned however, we have a habit of getting young blokes to step up. Surely he knows this and will respond on derby day. Go Eagles!! LOL Work with your team mates swiftie. Listen to them and learn mate.

I am never too proud to admit that the effort from the Eagles was disgraceful. Pav put on his own exhibition with pathetic resistance. The Eagles will play in finals but that's about it this year I'm afraid barring any miracles of course.
As for the Dockers, good on them, they are showing signs at the right time. It's still going to be tough though. Three incidents will be looked at this week. McFarlain will be lucky to dodge a bullet, I wouldn't be suprised if Pav gets looked at for his backhander and the incident where Kerr copped a nice kick to the groyne, which was supposed to be a blatant trip, will be looked at with some scorn. Without wanting to make any excuses it also seemed to me that the umpires were having a test run at a new set of rules for most of the game.

Pavlich- high contact, low impact, no injury(dive) unintentional and a good behaviour record = either no case or a very low point score. Pavlich must have polled a heap of brownlow votes in this latter part of the season
Mcpharlin- the contact was heavy but he hit darlings shoulder so the free kick shouldnt have even been paid, If it was his head it would have been a KO, no case to answer me thinks
De Boer- Trip he will cop a week depending on past history, it was more of a reckless kick to the knee rather than an intentional trip but they are hard on this so he will pay the price
