I've no great experience with wahoo
but my estimate would be far greater than Chris' above. 25-30kg would be my guess.

Agreed
seen a few in that size range from the Ningaloo coast.
Somewhere between 25-35kg, always hard to tell from pics though.

I ate plenty of them in
I ate plenty of them in Christmas Island and they are absolutely amazing eating (IMO). Ciguatera is only found in reef dwelling species in far North Queensland and up in the tropical countries,Fiji etc. as far as I know there hasn't been many, if any cases in WA. Also it wouldn't effect Pelagics such as wahoo as they don't eat the corals which is where I think it comes from, only in fish such as coral trout, red bass etc. anyone feel free to correct if I am wrong.

Beautiful to eat. Better than Mack. Quite similar to little Black Marlin.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Good Eating
Yeah we got a couple up in Exxy a couple of weeks back and cooked it up last night and I my opinion was pretty good.
Ours were a little smalller than urs and we guessed them at maybe just over 15kg so would say urs would easy be over the 20kg mark, close to 25
Did you get it on a diver or a skirt? Both ours hit green marlin skirts

Great fish!!
Awesome catch would have been a good fight for sure!! I reckon 24kg though my experience in Pelagics is far less than I would like it to be.
Burley it and they will come.
