Wahpole Magic 2nd day

Day 2

Worked the Franklin river on our second day for a very relaxing and rewarding experience. The still waters and and good fishing were therapy. The Lures were slow to produce fish but when they did it was quaility. Blacks were steady thoughout the day, we found king george and a good afternoon skippy session.

The fish of the day was 41cm Black

Great first time wahpole inlet/ franklin river trip

Got to be happy with a 40cm+ bream. Nice work. Sounds like a solid days fishing.

Great facilities

Thu, 2009-06-11 07:11

We will definately head back not only for the good fishing but for the welcoming facilities. The two bush camp sites we stayed in were excellent, with quality fire pits, seats and tables, toilets, fresh water, shade, local info, and clean. They set it up well for campers down there!

There's definately something magic in fishing like that - never regretted moving down south - and that's one of many reasons!

Any time you're ready #1!

Sat, 2009-06-13 11:04

On the trip i heard a few stories about Long point. Serious rock fishing, deep water with harlies, pinkies and blu gropher.
