Waroona Dam

Hi All, is there anything fish worth catching at Waroona dam, mrs wants to take the caravan and kayaks down there because " it will be relaxing". I wanted to take the boat to Cervantes. Paddling reaks of effort.

There should be a few Redfin
There should be a few Redfin around but I doubt you would find any trout. Fisheries didnt stock Waroona last year and with the warm water any left from previous stockings would be way down deep anyway. The other problem at this time of the year is the number of ski boats on the water, maybe try Harvey Dam as it would be more peaceful with no motorised boats allowed.

4x4 territory?
Is Harvey dam accessible without a four wheel drive and a boat/yak? Im landbased. Thanks.
I'm here for a good time, not a long time. Lets go fishing!

Yeah easily accesible by 2
Yeah easily accesible by 2 wheel drive. Its only a couple ok k's east of the Harvey townsite and you can see much of the dam from the sealed road though there are numerous gravel tracks leading to different spots. Might be fairly crowded at the moment with all the marroners about.
