Jigged the deeps around Waroona yesterday for a few good Perch, was fishing mainly around the 20m mark and the better fish were taken on Dhuie jigs, Maria Metal Flicker 60gms!! This morning was a lot more quiet, couple of little rats on the troll was all.

Nice work, good feed there.
Nice work, good feed there. We used to use the old baltic bobber to get 'em back in NSW, greedy little pigs will eat anything shiny.
Just because I smile & nod does not mean I believe the crap coming out of your mouth.

Yeah was damn good fun
Yeah was damn good fun Simmo, 15ft flat punt would be the go for this so you can work your jigs properly. The chully bun is a bit sketchy for fishing two standing up but is the ducks nuts for a solo mission, although I do need to get a lean seat. Dropped a few gooduns too.

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

I love river fishing and always want to catch these redfins and trouts! Just wondering is there a boat ramp to launch a boat at lake navarino smicko? Is it only redfin that u can catch in the lake or is there any other species tht u can catch too there?

Some lovely sized Redfin there.
Good report, nice looking fish. It is surprising how big the jigs can be to catch em on. We used to use a rough looking 2 oz lead slug with red feathers on the hook. Now I need a feed of Redfin. :) after looking at your photos.

Nice Haul
Good day out, don't mind a feed of reddies. Good thing is there's no size/bag limit. Just trying to remember if a fresh water licence is needed there. I've caught some nice rainbows there. How full is the dam ATM?
Old fishermen never die they just smell that way.

Any freshwater fishing
Any freshwater fishing requires a licence, unless it is private property and then I wouldnt think you would need one.
