WD-40

 has any one eaver used wd-40 to attract fish to your lure or add scent to a soft placky? and does it work?

 From memory, there has been some discussion previously about WD 40 being made from fish oil but I  dont think it is. I reckon its more likely to repel than attract.

WD 40 is derived from crude oil the same as most oils and is bad for the environment in large quantities. It was a Facebook hoax that said it was made from fish oil

i was spinning lures down harvey about a couple of years ago with no success around 6pm

i sprayed wd40 on my nilsmaster and first cast got my pb redfin 1kg+, then one after another. my little brother was spinning next to me wothout using wd40 and never got one

call it co-insidence but i use it all the time now and seems to work
