 Campbell's pro tackle 8/10 great service,great range and best of all they have the best prices :) the guys in there are also pretty good as well 

Complete angler Nedlands 100% good service good advice and they look after their customers price wise 10/10 if they havnt got it in stock they will find it for you very quickly and get it store 

 otherwise Mo tackle 9/10

I can only rate them based on my experience.  

Campbells pro tackle is the store I use most because it is closest to the city centre and I can get there on the train during my lunch break (I wish bluewater hay st never closed down..).  

Campbells staff offer great advice, friendly service, competitive prices on a good range.  9 / 10.  

All boat business very similar review to campbells but not as conveniently located. 7.5 / 10.

Oceanside.   Only been there once due to the fact Iive miles away.  Not their fault.  Sure I would go more often if I was closer.  7.5 / 10.

Bluewater morley. Same same. 7.5 / 10

Tackle shack.  Knowledgable staff.  Range lacking.   6 / 10.

Getaway.  Friendlier atmosphere.   5 / 10.

BCF.  Service is lacking. staff lack specialised knowledge. But their specials are good. 3 / 10.

 Jetty Rat still there Peter, good staff, helpful local knowledge from land based to out wide. They suffer the normal BCF stocking issues but overall a good friendly store. 8/10

Dunsborough sports, popped in the other day for the first time, had a quick chat with Dave. I can see them getting some of wages soon :-)

Bluewater/Tackleworld Clarkson- 8/10. Good range of stuff, a couple knowledgable staff and a heaps of good bait in the freezers.

 Bluewater Morley 8.5 out of 10. Carl and the guys there are always good for a laugh and provide great service. 

The new girl that works there really improves the appearance of the place too!

oceanside tackle 9.0 out of 10. I would shop there more regularly but it is the other side of perth for me.

Campbell's in leederville 7.5 out of 10. Good range of gear but they don't seem to do you too many discounts or deals.

Bcf I give about 4 out of 10. I only shop there when they do super specials on a particular item I need

 Dunsborough out door sports 10/10 friendliest staff going that are all willing to help and if they don't have it they will get it .

 great people with lots of local knowlege. they are also very community based and support the joinor footy clubs

Oceanside. Only been there a few times because I live down south but always extremely helpful and good range of gear. 9/10

Whiteys Australind. Helpful staff. Good range of gear, rods especially. 9/10

Bunbury Sports and Leisure. Good service and fair range 8/10

Busso BCF. Good when Jetty Rat there to have a yak and get some local advice. Fair range. Been out of Mulies a few times (WTF??) 6/10

Bunbury BCF. Staff useless. Range woefull. 1/10

Margs Camping and fishing. Great service. Helpful guys always willing to give you some local knowledge. Reasonable range. 8/10

Adventure Sports Karratha 1/10.  Only give them 1 for the large range of gear.  Owner of the shop is a lying prick!  Had to get some parts ordered in and he lied to my face!

 Adventure sports really does have a decent range. Not much they don't have. 

Smirkeys in Hedland I have to give a 9. Always order in what you need and locals always get a good deal. 

Bluewater Melville or Scarborough when I'm in Perth get the top marks.

Tried Oceanside a few times and left feeling a little ho hum. Don't seem to reply to emails either.

Tuckeys Tackle Mandurah. They have got everything and really well priced

Can't go past giving good marks to all three tackle shops here in Carnarvon good range at a reasonable price, if they don't have it they will source it for you.

Great local knowledge as owners or staff are keen fishermen who know their stuff.

Exactly, if people run a good business and provide good service then they have nothing to worry about. I dont think its the view of a couple of fishing maniacs that sends people broke

 Agree with the guys if you run a good business and keep your customers happy have nothing to worry about 

what's wrong with constructive criticism? if some one was unhappy with my company I'd like to hear feed back,  good or bad so I can rectify the problem.  and if someone likes something we do or have done,we also focus on that to improve even better 

I Have to agree with some of the comments about good and bad service at the some  above mentioned stores 

are that you could bag your competition like some restaurants may have done. Or like some of the reviewers on accomodation sites that may only give a good review if the owner agrees to a discount or upgrade. Not that this applies to fishwrecked users.

 Reviews can only be a good thing, sometimes the truth hurts, that's life. I work in a tackle store (geographe), if you said we were shit or lacking in some area, we would do our best to improve it. So johnno, your a dickhead! I'm not going critique other stores because no matter what I say it would be considered bias.

Reviews are always a good thing. No matter what there are always people out there that may believe they recieved better service somewhere else or know a place with better range etc etc.

Feedback is the most important thing to running a successful business and it's the primary way a business owner can continually improve the service or product they provide to give their customers a great experience and keep them coming back time and time again. it's all part of the "Evolve or fall behind" mentality that goes with running a business.

Most people on Fishwrecked take reviews with a pinch of salt anyway and read all the posts on a thread before making any decision whether they'll go to a shop for what they need or not.

The whole point of this forum is for a community of likeminded people that enjoy fishing to share experiences they have had and for others to learn something about what they love...And sometimes that may include tackle shops.

 Oceanside 10/10 no doubts. the lads are always willing to help with anything and are really clued up about a lagre variety of fishing techniques etc.. easily the best tackle shop ive been to and has helped me learn so many new things

compleat angler rockingham 9/10. the staff are always extreamely friendly and all are really knowledgeable and, same as oceanside, go out of their way to help you! its close to home so its definately a pleasure to visit

BCF rockinghams 2/10 absolutely useless. the staff are rude and have no clue what theyre talking about only good thing is the always have fairly good bait

tackleword mandurah 8/10 quality store all the staff know what theyre talking about always offering advice always willing to share techniques etc...perfect place to stop and stock up on the way to preston beach meelup etc

Pricing is also comparable with Perth tackle shops.  Save some space in your car and do your tackle restock when you arrive in eccy.

Only other tackle shop I use is Campbell's pro tackle.  If tackle world Eccy is 10/10 the Campbell's is 8.5/10
