weekend plans?
Submitted by H.S. Chan on Thu, 2009-01-08 12:46
just wondering, anyone got any land/shore based fishing plans for this weekend? Like what you might be chasing, when, where you may be doing it. I guess it gives us F.W. fishos a chance to get together or drop by to say hello.
I, myself will probably be hunting rays at north mole this saturday night, while waiting, i'd be trolling for tailor and snook. Probably get there about 6-7pm. I'm always camped near the toilet block, my white wrx is always parked next to the rocks where i'll be. If anyone round, drop past say hello. If its a bad night, i might venture somewhere else, maybe mindarie marina or kwinana grain jetty depending on wind.

An early morning fish on the reefs at low tide could be good

marlin fishing
The marlin are hot at the moment, so probably a billfish on Saturday and then bottom bouncing and a quick troll for billies on Sunday if the weather holds out.

deckie?
If any of you southern boys need a deckie ie wrass or tt i'm in kwinana. Might need a bit of guidance but I'm keen. Hit me up if you want.
Used to do quite a bit of boat fishing with the old man when I lived in Karratha as a kid, but only been out squidding in the sound from a dinghy of late.
If we can hit that bullseye, the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.
