you are a terrorist Adam
You could of put that up when I was there, did not get one flat day at Tantabiddi in 8 days, having said that we did have a red hot session at norwest reef on the big tide change. Was rough as but I have never seen the likes of bait and bird action that was happening there. Had two spoolings and a couple of massive bustoffs on the heavy gear. Pretty awesome sight casting to 40-70lb trevors in schools of 5 or 6. I am sure the conditions were why it was going off, as it was very unpleasant and the big tide just kept trying to suck us back onto the reef break so someone had to be driving all the time.

Yeh
I saw your car parked at Tantas a few days that I couldn't believe anyone was still out. You guys were keen! Any fish of note over the 8 days? You must have got a mackie or two?? Theyre everywhere at the moment.

only on the last day
Mate - I pretty much have given up on Tantas. I am sure there are fish there but the conditions I have copped every time have been SH. ON the last day we should have come in but thought we were their any way so keep plugging. Ended up hitting a patch of mackies and got about 6 in 20 minutes trolling then it just shut down again. Dropped a dollie and picked up a few cobes but a lot of hours for not much action. Fishing seemed to be very WINDOW based on tide changes this time. Had to be in the right spot on tide change and it went off, but a lot of quiet time either side.
DIdn't really land anything note worthy. Had a massive GT on at Nor west but very tough conditions and probably went too hard on it and pulled the split ring and treble off the lure. Mark got spooled on a TP4000 on the same arvo and Munners had a big GT on for 5 minutes on the stella 20000 before some sharks decided they wanted it. Sharks were very friendly everywhere.
Got some great queenies over on the mainland, will have a chat to you about it.
