also was stoked to land a 10kg Harpuka as well.
Skipper outstanding, and a great day out with some great blokes.
Love it when a plan comes together.

If no esky, then where do you keep the beer John?!
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Still to even try that challenge
Ricey did you jig or bait.

bit of both
Jigs accounted for some red and pink snapper, but the big ones were on bait.

How deep
What depth of water are you fishing in? I'm new to WA fishing.

220 to 350 m
pretty deep, not a simple feat to find the fish that deep and far out.
The harpuka were in the deeper water.
Many hours and research put in to find the ground with quality sounding gear.
Big commitment by the skipper.
Fishing WA yesterday was on the deep drop, showed deep dropping pretty clearly.
