WHAT COD IS IT PART 2

OK guys looks like its a Rankin Cod even though the pic of the fish on the floor shows other rankins with blotches .This was taken after all the fish were removed from a ice slurry before cleaning and the big cod was very slimey to .It did have parasites in the gut cavity and wing area.

hey mate it's a Rankin Cod I have caught many and you get a few with no blotches.

No white on the tips of the
No white on the tips of the tail or dorsal steers me away from Greyband.

Rankin confirmed
As discussed in the other thread (fishwrecked.com/image/what-fish-it), the tail is an easy character to use. Rankin has a crescent or lunate tail, Eightbar/Greyband has a rounded tail.
