sorry about the very bad quality photos. I'll explain more a bit later on, and some of you will probably figure out what is going on, and where I'm going with this....
do you guys think the 2 boats below are the same boat? I don't mean same model, make, etc, I mean THE SAME boat? apart from the graphics being slightly different and the boat name has gone, the canopy, trailer, bow rails, windscreen, all look the same hey?

Trailer
Isn't the one at the bottom a dual axle trailer? Looks like can see the second mud guard but the wheel is off. There are 2 pieces of wood on the ground and maybe looks like a block holding the second axle up.
Trailcraft boats are all going to look substantially the same.

Photos
The top photo is from the day Doreen Collyer was killed by the gw after Ben Gerring died a few days before, the bottom photo certainly looks like the same boat sans the name. Not sure where this photo is from though..? Edit: did a tineye search on the bottom image, the only hit is from an ABC article when Peter Kurmann was killed in 2012.

trailer
again, its hard to tell from the shitty photos, but if you look at the steel frame of the trailer, roughly about half way along on the drivers side, there is a red/white chequered sticker (near where the Y section of the trailer squares up).
funny how both trailers have the same sticker on the trailer?

trailer mods
My old 5m trailcraft had the trailer converted from single axle to dual axle. its a very easy modification especially as its a dunbier trailer and plenty of parts around. As Scotto says, the sticker in the same place is a give away, same trailer I'd say...

not by me
Mate, I bought it with the conversion done. it was done very well and the two plastic mudguards had a bracket at the bottom which joined them together.

Hi Scotto
Do you have a theory or is it just an observation?

This news story shows the boat for Peter Kurmann
http://www.watoday.com.au/wa-news/man-dead-in-shark-attack-20120331-1w4p8.html
The video shows the boat being towed into storage at 0:57 Looks to be a Suzuki on the back and the rego numbers look pretty similar to BW121, definitely a single axle.

I was looking for that footage...
just tried to screen shot that footage, but the quality is too low. graphics on that boat are the same as BW121. the rego numbers although blurry, are close to BW121. definitely a single axle. motor is certainly a mercury or Suzuki.

Hey Scotto. Spill the beans. What's your theory. Were they both doing research work or testing shark shields for the same company or something?

I'm sure I saw that Vampire
I'm sure I saw that Vampire boat at woodies a month or so ago. As that being so I would say they were 2 different boats. It was parked opposite the woodies cafe.

Yep,
as some have said and others had guessed, this is the same boat. and yes, it was involved in 2 fatal great white attacks, both on divers, with different boat owners, and 4 years apart.
Not too sure why, but aparantly the police didn't want this info being made public?
Nothing more to it really, other than I guess that boat is just really, REALLY, bad luck
