what piss's me off most!

When you go to all this effort to orgnanise a day out on the boat, organised crue bait ice food etc etc, get up at 5 am to pack the boat, and expect the arrivals of the boys at 6 am. 6 30am i should call him, no answer, 7 30 am, i go back to bed. Boy it shits me so much when this happens. He wont be copping a invite out again! Looks like i might be like at throwing up a few deckie adds due my irreponsible mates cant organise them selves for a day of fishing

sorry to vent frustrations.

Oh well him being a no show means ive now fixed my cd player and speekers on the tub at least!

Unhappy

Gotta be very unhappy with that mate- he would have some serious grovelling to do to get another invite!

You shouldn't have any

Sun, 2011-05-22 12:47

You shouldn't have any problems finding very good deckies on here mate,

There is no excuse for not letting you know he was a non starter, being on the squirt is not good enough either.

The weather gods are kind today, which makes it worse for you.

Yeah mate definently a big piss off, thats why i either pick up my deckie on the way if its close or get them to meet me at the ramp. That way if they arnt there in time i can still enjoy a solo session.

Sun, 2011-05-22 17:37

what pisses me off even more than that is the $160 fine I got today from the govt. marine saftey scum for being half a mile too far out for my flare kit.(no rocket flares)he issued a warning and followed me in then changed his mind and issued a fine!!Pissed off!!!

I will probably get flamed

Sun, 2011-05-22 17:46

I will probably get flamed for this, but - Sorry, they are just doing their job and it's for your own safety.  Lucky they realise that the flares don't have to be changed every year as it is.

Not harsh at all, you are not

Sun, 2011-05-22 17:57

Not harsh at all, you are not the exception to the rule everyone else has to abide by champ. Yep its going to give you the shits & you will fork out 160 hard earned bikkies for something that was easily avoidable, you could buy 4 parachute flares with that!

Strike him off the list terboz.

Similar to having a deckie cancel a trip because something else came up and you then see them later at the ramp heading out on another boat.

Solo fishing is not for

Sun, 2011-05-22 21:47

Solo fishing is not for everyone.  Some boats might need 2 people to handle at the ramp, not so much to launch, but more so to recover.
