Dorsal fins are incorrectly placed on the epaulettes.
"Origin of first dorsal fin behind insertion of pelvic fin. " The shark in question does not match that description.
Australian Spotted Cat Shark according to fishbase is in southern Australia. I win.
Shizz is 100% correct. It is a australian black spotted catshark, they grow to about 70cms. Theres so many catsharks out there so its hard to tell between them. But knowing its caught locally makes it easy since most other species are abundant in the northern hemisphere.
Epaulettes have grinders and not teeth. The shark pictured have teeth. I've caught plenty to know. Epaulettes also generally have bands as well as spots similar to the bamboo shark. Also the spots on epaulettes are larger. So go get your facts right before you start being so rude to others k noobcake? Nobody wants to see that negative dribble in here.
